About the Corten Steel Planter Box
The Corten planter develops its own rust patina over 6–9 months, then stabilizes — no further corrosion, no maintenance, no paint. The 2 mm gauge is heavy enough to last decades and the welded seams are ground flush for a clean rectangular silhouette. Drainage holes pre-drilled. Use for ornamental grasses, herbs, small trees or as a divider.

The Corten Steel Planter Box is part of our Corten collection, within our wider outdoor range. The Corten planter develops its own rust patina over 6–9 months, then stabilizes — no further corrosion, no maintenance, no paint.
Each piece is 2 mm corten weathering steel, with 10-year structural. For the first 6–9 months the planter will shed rust-colored water in rain. Place on gravel or natural stone, not on light concrete or decking, until the patina has stabilized.
